Africa Footprints, Victoria Miro Gallery, London, 1986.

1005x715 mm. Lithograph in brown ink on Somerset Satin paper. Edition of 75, 50 artist proofs. This print was created for a famine charity appeal. The map of Africa is reproduced in the artist's muddy footprints. While the print alludes to Richard Long's own walks, it also suggests the long journeys on foot undertaken by poverty-stricken people in search of food aid. Proof copy where the lithographic image is not as strong and was therefore unused by the artist so not part of the official edition.
